#Boulder Armed Car Jacking On April 21, 2015, at approximately 4:45 PM, Boulder P.D. officers were called to a reported armed carjacking that occurred in a parking lot just north of Canyon Blvd., east of 21st Street. The 19 y/o victim advised that two white males and two black males lured him into their vehicle. During this time, one of the black males began rifling through the victim’s car. When the victim attempted to get out of the suspects’ car, three of the suspects brandished semi-automatic handguns. The suspects used plastic ties to bind the victim’s hands. The victim was able to escape from the vehicle, and ran west on Canyon. He returned several minutes later to find his vehicle was stolen. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Thieves vehicle

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1: W/M, approximately 40 yoa , black/ gray hair, stubble beard. Wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.
Suspect #2: W/M, short, black hair. Had tattoo of cursive “D” on left side of face with other unknown cursive letters. Suspect was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. Suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect #3: B/M, goes by “Pat” or “Mike,” approx. 25 yoa. 6’1”, 220 lbs, with “thin” shoulder length dreadlocks. Armed with silver semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect #4: B/M, approx. 25 yoa, 5’10, 150 lbs. Armed with black semi-automatic handgun.

The stolen vehicle is a pearl colored 2010 Subaru Impreza, model WRX Premium addition (see photo of similar vehicle) with Utah license plates B158ZE. The suspect vehicle is described as an approximately 2011, blue Nissan Armada (see attached photo of similar vehicle) with unknown license plates.

Police are asking anyone who may have information regarding this crime to call Det. Chuck Heidel at 303-441-3339, or Boulder P.D. dispatch at 303-441-3333. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-444-3776. Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
