Gold Hill news #boulderfire some houses gone; fire moves toward Sugarloaf

Kurtis Leverentz just returned from GH.  This is info from his observations and from talking to a fireman.

As of 2 hours ago.

GH town is fine

Reason to believe fire has:
- jumped Lefthand Canyon
- is on Sugarloaf
- heading to Peak to Peak
- as far west as carriage hills estates (just up Lee Hill from Boulder).

They have no handle on it.  It’s burning totally out of control.

5 slurry dumps in last 2 hours on 4-mile.

Snowbound is gone.  Karen’ Simmons house was standing 2 hours ago.

Sunshine – too smokey to tell.

Howard Lambert, Michael Patrilo, and Laughlin house’s still standing.

GH Climb has not been touched.

Big crew working behind Cash Mine.

Max & Deb Yeager’s ridge house is standing.

Gretchen and Michael’s house is standing.

Ranch lodge standing, all else at ranch gone.
