Denver Auto Show Colorado Convention Center, March 27-31

DENVER, March 7, 2019 – Attendees of the 2019 Denver Auto Show will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel for a test drive, go extreme off-roading indoors with Camp Jeep, and see the latest luxury cars, customs, antiques and the newest 2019 models from 32 car lines. The 2019 Denver Auto Show revs up at the Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th Street, March 27-31. More than 500 vehicles will be on display in the largest showroom between Chicago and Los Angeles.

Some of this year’s five-day show highlights include: Audi e-tron Quattro, Bentley Bentayga V8, Ford Ranger, Honda Passport, Jeep Gladiator, Kia Niro EV, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Lexus UX, Lincoln Aviator, Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid, Toyota Avalon, Volkswagen Arteon, Volvo V60 and more.
“The Denver Auto Show is an experience unlike any other. You can test drive, kick tires, ask questions, see the newest brands and models under one roof and yet learn about custom cars, race cars, antique cars, military vehicles and much more,” said Tim Jackson, president/CEO, Colorado Automobile Dealers Association.

Things to try and see
CAMP JEEP: Go extreme off-roading with a professional driver on the show floor. Roll over rocks, climb hills and clear obstacles that demonstrate Jeep’s traction, ground clearance and maneuverability.
TEST DRIVES: Get behind the wheel of the hottest new models and go for a spin in downtown Denver. Product specialists will highlight all the features. (Test Drives: Friday through Sunday; daylight hours only). Vehicles include Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Kia, Mazda, Ram, Toyota and Volkswagen.
DREAM STREET: Get up close with exotics from Aston-Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and McLaren.
MILITARY TRAIL: Salute historic military transport vehicles like half-track, jeeps, armor, tracked vehicles and artillery pieces. The Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado restored these vehicles with authentic markings and equipment.
RACING CAR PIT STOP: See competitive sports cars that have raced at every level, compliments of the Colorado Region of the Sports Car Club of America.
ANTIQUE ROAD SHOW: A one-of-a-kind antique display of vehicles from The Forney Museum of Transportation including the 1923 Kissel owned by Amelia Earhart. (shown at left)
MAXX THE 9-FOOT ROBOT: MAXX (Mobile Android of the Xperiment Xtreme) is a 9-foot tall robot who likes to show off his human-like emotions in the AAA Insurance display.
MEET DENVER RUNNING BACK PHILLIP LINDSAY: Denver running back Phillip Lindsay #30 will be in the Acura display Wednesday, March 27, 7-9 p.m. A Denver native, he was the first undrafted offensive rookie to make the Pro Bowl.
MEET DENVER SHOOTING GUARD GARY HARRIS: Denver shooting guard Gary Harris #14 will be on the show floor Saturday, March 30, 4-5 p.m.
THE GARAGE: Shop this one-of-a-kind Denver Auto Show Superstore in 27,000 square feet of aftermarket products and accessories, branded merchandise and more.
CONTESTS: Enter to win $15,000 toward the purchase of a new car.

UPCYCLE CHALLENGE
Becky Ditchfield, Raquel Villanueva and Vida Urbanos, hosts of Fix This on 9News, partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver for an Upcycle Challenge. Each team member was challenged to find pieces to upcycle at Habitat’s Denver ReStore. The upcycled pieces will be on display throughout the Show with a silent auction that will allow show-goers to bid on the final projects, auction proceeds will go to Habitat. The Fix This team will host a corresponding upcycle presentation on the Fresh Ideas Stage Saturday, March 18 at 2 p.m.
SOGETSU JAPANESE FLOWER ARRANGING
Ikebana is the art of Japanese floral arranging. Sogetsu, one of the largest schools of ikebana, will display their incredible and unique flower arrangements at the show.
