I spent years talking about alcohol abuse on radio and TV here in Boulder. The more i dug and traveled with the cops to the hill, the worse it looked. I went into Boulder bars late at night. 11:00 pm to 2:00 and witnessed a sea of drunkenness and over serving. I interview cocktail waitresses and bar tenders. One them became clear then as today. Bar owners and mangers play cat and mouse with the cops. The will routinely over serve after midnight. The try to get guys drunk and then slam their credit cards by promoting shot trays to a table. They will max out a credit card to a drunk male patron. Bars make their big money between 11:30 and 1:30 am using this practice. Shift managers make bonuses based on sales during this time. Bar owners practice constant deception. They use sex and wild times to promote alcohol sales. As a side bar to all of this. Bars support cocaine dealers by turning a blind eye to cocaine sales by waitress or bar tenders. This is a very sophisticated operation..Any ask any college student or attendees of late night bars and they will tell you cocaine is prevalent. Of course cocaine allows people to stay awake and drink more . so it is good for the bars. This issue is an overwhelming health concern to mental health, social services, police, and jail. Ask them if i am right.

But it is the deception of the alcohol industry that should concern you……………these people are SLICK. I think Jann Otto opened a can of worms for Mamacittas that should be dumped3d out on the ground to see what’s really there.
