The Rocky Mountain Airshow is attended by up to 400 aircraft from around the country. During the three-day event, the FAA and industry leaders present over 20 educational and safety forums. Building workshops for adults (welding, sheet metal, riveting techniques, etc.) and youth (ESTES model rocketry, balsa aircraft, rib building, etc.) help spark a new interest in learning and aviation. Activities designed specifically for young people are found in the Adventure Zone.
