Picasso: Art & Arena Exhibit - An exhibition featuring dozens of Picasso originals, including many that have never been seen previously in the United States. 
Both famous and rare, these pieces were produced in different styles, techniques and media; providing unique insights into one of Picasso’s main themes: bullfighting. Coalition for the Visual Arts Exhibition -The showcase of works of the Jacksonville Coalition for the Visual Arts will be displayed at The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach, 50 Executive Way, Ponte Vedra Beach. Edwin Augustus Moore Special Exhibit at the Lightner Museum – The private collection of Edwin Augustus Moore paintings will be featured as a special exhibit at The Lightner Museum through May 1. Moore was an American painter, traveler, journalist, photographer and composer who used St. Augustine for many of his landscape watercolor subjects. He visited the ancient city in 1895 along with other members of his artistic and eccentric family. Sea Your History Weekend: Oh My Stars!
How mariners navigate their ships by using the location of celestial bodies is the theme of a special weekend presentation at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum, 81 Lighthouse Ave. Friday from 3-6 p.m. visitors can help Lighthouse archaeologists unlock the secrets of long-lost shipwrecks. Saturday at 9 a.m., visitors can meet and work with traditional wooden boatbuilding as they build a boat from centuries gone by. At 11 a.m., a Smithsonian Presentation gives visitors an opportunity to meet some of the people who make the Smithsonian the world’s leader in research and exploration. What Could Be Exhibition
Artist Anna von Mertens’ What Could Be exhibition at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, 48 Sevilla St., in St. Augustine. Searle’s Sack of St. Augustine
Authentic re-enactment of Captain Robert Searle’s 1668 attack on St. Augustine. Searle and his privateers sailed from Jamaica to loot the silver ingots held in the royal coffers at St. Augustine. During the day, the Raiders will have an encampment set up at the Fountain of Youth Archeological Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and in the evening re-enactors will attack the city’s Spanish soldiers and colonial citizens. Beginning at the Plaza at 5 p.m. townspeople and soldiers will flee up St. George St. to the City’s historic gate at Orange and Cordova Streets where the skirmish continues. Night Fest at The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum
A celebration of historic preservation, community gatherings and family outings from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the St. Augustine Lighthouse, 81 Lighthouse Ave. Night Fest begins at 4:30 p.m. with the 5k Walk and Fun Run starting at 5:30 p.m.. Then, at dusk, the French lens comes alive with light at the top of the tower. A special presentation on navigating by the stars will be presented via the Smithsonian Institutions Affiliates Program. Hotel Ponce De Leon Carrere & Hastings Blueprint Exhibit – In commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Ponce de Leon Hotel, historically and culturally significant ephemera relating to the construction and early years of the Hotel Ponce de Leon will be on display through February 22. This exhibit includes original Carrere and Hastings and McGuire drawings and blueprints, photographs, a copy of an 1885 map, and construction documents. Additionally, the exhibit highlights a group of artists who made the Hotel Ponce de Leon their seasonal home during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Pink Up The Pace 5K Walk/Run

Historic Weapons Demonstrations At Fort Matanzas
From 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., authentically clad re-enactors will demonstrate Spanish muskets and cannons. Admission is free including the ferry ride from Rattlesnake Island. Sunset Celebration At Vilano Beach Town Center
See a spectacular St. Augustine sunset cast from across the bay at the Vilano Beach Town Center, 75 Vilano Beach Road. Datil Pepper Festival and Cook Off
A celebration of the spicy little Datil Pepper. On Saturday, local restaurants participate in a cook off of recipes using the datil pepper. Judging is from 11:30am – 1pm! Vote for your favorite ‘pepper’ delight. Tickets will be sold for $1 each. On Sunday there will bean Amateur Datil Pepper Hot Sauce contest and a Home and Garden Show. It will all take place at 3111 Agricultural Center Drive, St. Augustine.

NOTE: St. Johns County residents with a valid ID are always admitted free of charge to the Oldest House, the Lightner Museum, the Fountain of Youth (special events excluded), the Ximenez-Fatio House, the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, Spanish Military Hospital Museum, and the Historic Tours of Flagler College. The daily tours and wine tastings at the San Sebastian Winery are free to everyone. Also, admission is free to everyone at the Authentic Old Drug Store, Fort Matanzas National Monument, St. Photios Chapel, the Pena-Peck House, the Father Miguel O’Reilly Museum and the Mission Nombre de Dios Museum (donations are welcomed).
NEW: St. Johns County residents who purchase full-price admisssion to the St. Augustine Lighthouse ($9.50 adults; $7.50 seniors and children 12 and under; free for children under 44 inches in height) can now receive a pass good for free admission for an entire year! The Lighthouse is now open until 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
