Visitors will be able to get their kicks on “Route 66” as Flagler College screens an episode of the classic 1960s TV series on July 16.

The 1964 episode “This is Going to Hurt Me More Than It Hurts You,” which was filmed in St. Augustine and the Hotel Ponce de Leon,route 66 will be shown at 7 p.m. in the Virginia Room of the Ringhaver Student Center, 50 Sevilla St., St Augustine.

In addition, locals who were used as extras in the episode are being asked to come to the screening to be recognized.

The free event is being presented as part of the City of St. Augustine’s Concerts in the Plaza series and will feature music by Lis & Lon Williamson with Rick Kuncicky before the showing.
