NEW YEARS EVE 2006

Jann Scott happened.

In 2005 under the guise of NO Money Honey the Boulder city council told andy Bergey head of public access channel 54 to get rid of Jann Scott.

At the head of the “get Jann Scott off the air ” were Robin Bohannan, Andy Shulthiesse, Shaun McGrath, Suzy Ageston, Jack Stoakes and Mayor Mark Ruzzin. Bergey was told to get rid of Jann or lose your job. He lost his job.

the council was treading on this ice because their contract with CATV and then BTV in 2006, strictly forbid them from getting into” content control” and censorship of “Jann Scott Live” , channel 54′s only live call in TV show which let callers on uncensored.

So the council did it in the coat room . they lined up Shaun MCGrath to do their dirty work. If he stopped Jann Scott Live and put on G rated shows only , they promised they would fund public access. So McGrath found Disney producer Tony perri and gave him the channel to do what he wanted with.

Perri immediately pulled all local programming of the air including jann scott live and replaced it with Disney programming. He then asked the council what kind of programs they wanted and they said: programs which make us look good and won’t make our phones ring about Jann Scott.

That began WWIII in council chambers with citizen producers complaining………..of everything from harassment to mis use of funds to censorship, first amendment violations., discrimination, denied access etc. ………………….This all started with the city council breaking the laws covering “content control” and wanting Jann Scott’s first amendment rights violated.

Tony Perri who was given a “green Light ” to corruption thought he could do what he wanted to…………and he was right………the city council installed him to do their bidding.

But somehow , it all went wrong and now the wheels are coming off Not just BTV but the corrupt Boulder City Council who to this day thinks it is their job to “manage first amendment rights free speech”. they actually believe this .

where will it all end ????

Council will probably take this to the bitter end and be left with the reputation of the most corrupt city council in Boulder’s History. they will be challenged at every turn over BTV and their own wrong doings.

In the end they will wish the hell they left the content on Channel 54 and Jann Scott Live the hell alone………..that they just referred all complaints on Jann to Jann. They will have wished they put their desires for “their kind of programming” on Channel 8 the municipal channel…the channel that they actually have control over.

meanwhile, Jann Scott and all of his friends have parked themselves on Channel 8 at city council meetings teaching the city council new lessons in public policy , free speech and public access TV…………………to the councils horror.

Not only that……….dozens of video blogs about the council and BTV have popped up on the internet.

Yep…………that city council sure shut Jann Scott up………..

And what of the investigations launched on this council and public opinion when their Boy Tony went out and charged a new Mercedes to the city……….and then tried to walk off with half the city equipment.??

will Perri suit the city as a thank you….when he finally has had enough…..for being their stooge?

Will the Boulder Access producers land the city in court???

Will the people of boulder get Jann Scott Live back on Channel 54??
