Boulder Judge denies Attorney General's request For a second time, Boulder District Court Judge Andrew Hartman has rejected the Attorney General’s effort to stop Boulder County Clerk Hillary Hall from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. On Monday the AG filed a motion with the district court asking for a "stay" on issuing same-sex marriage licenses. Judge Hartman issued an order denying the motion, stating that the Attorney General was essentially asking the court to reconsider its earlier ruling on the state's request for a preliminary injunction. Flood-impacted residents may be eligible for CDBG-DR funding Boulder County, Colo. – Boulder County has been awarded a first-round sum of more than $5 million in Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). On Friday afternoon, the Attorney General’s office sent us an email requesting that we “closely review the order” issued earlier in the day by the Supreme Court, in which the Court ordered both Adams County and Denver to refrain from issuing same-sex marriage licenses.
