Seats3D For Folsom Field
Apr 30th
University of Colorado Athletic Ticket Office is three days into the use of a new, interactive website that gives season ticket holders more control in the seat improvement process.
Partnering with Ballena Technologies, CU has launched Seats3D, enabling those football season ticket holders who wish to move their current seats or add additional seats to their account for the upcoming 2014 football season.
Last September, the University of Colorado Athletic Department announced the “We Care Customer Service Pledge.” This initiative was designed to raise the level of service expectation for every customer service interaction with the athletic department, specifically focused on the CU Athletic Ticket Office and Buff Club.? The Seats3D process is one of the new ways the ricket office is hoping to improve the customer experience and move towards fulfilling that pledge.
Fans have received an email with a designated date and time, at which point they can login to the interactive website. They can see what seats are available, the views from those seats, and have the opportunity to make choices. Fans who are satisfied with their seat locations and do not want to make any changes for the upcoming season do not need to go through this process.
The upgrade process will continue until May 9 of this year, and will be utilized again for men’s basketball in June and July.?
If you would like to become a season ticket holder, please call 303-492-8282 and one of our Customer Service Representatives will assist you between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

CU Continuing At NCAA Regionals
Apr 29th
University of Colorado will continue its season at the 2014 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Regionals.
The Buffaloes received one of 44 at large bids to the regional tournaments, considered the preliminary rounds of the NCAA Championships competition.
CU, who will be sending the team or an individual to the regionals for a fourth consecutive year, will compete as the No. 17 seed in the Central Regional at the 6,200-yard, par-72 Karsten Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla. from May 8-10.
The Buffs’ region includes fellow Pac-12 opponents UCLA, Arizona and California (all of whom rank in Golfstat’s most recent top 35) and former Big 12 foes Kansas, Texas and host team Oklahoma State. Additionally, Texas Tech’s Kimmie Hill will be competing as an individual.
The top eight teams and two individuals from each of the three regionals will advance to the NCAA Championships Finals, held at the Tulsa Country Club from May 20-23 in Tulsa, Okla.
Going into the tournament with the ups and downs of the regular season behind them and with prior knowledge of the course helps Kelly know what her team has to do to have success at regionals and have the possibility of advancing to the NCAA Championships. Kelly says it’s a difficult time, with the team also taking its final exams during the week of regionals, but believes the Buffs can find the right balance.

Morales vs Miley
Apr 28th
The D-backs and the Rockies meet for the first time this season at Chase Field with the opener of a three-game series on Monday.
The Rockies, after winning two out of three in Los Angeles this weekend, are 14-12, tied for second with the Dodgers and only 1 1/2 games behind the Giants, who are atop the National League West.
Meanwhile, the D-backs lost two out of three to the Phillies at home where their record is 2-13. They’re overall 8-20 mark puts them dead last in the NL West and their .286 winning percentage is the worst in the Major Leagues.
Still, there are positives. The starting rotation, which is also the worst in the big leagues, has come back in the last four games to contribute four quality starts. Only Wade Miley, pitching against Morales on Monday night, went less than six innings in his last start last Wednesday against the Cubs in the 100th birthday game at Wrigley Field.
With left-hander Randy Wolf waiting in the wings and rounding into shape at Triple-A Reno, D-backs manager Kirk Gibson said that he and upper management are reviewing the D-backs pitching every day. The rotation is set through the three-game Rockies series, but beyond that is anybody’s guess.
Wolf, who has recovered from his second Tommy John ligament replacement surgery, had a good spring pitching for the Mariners, but declined a Major League contract over a dispute with Seattle management. He subsequently was signed by the D-backs to a Minor League deal and is 2-1 with a 3.71 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 17 innings over the course of three starts.
The Rockies don’t have much of a playoff history, but the formula for when they do make it is to dominate at home and hold serve on the road. By taking two of three from the Dodgers, the Rockies improved to .500 in National League West road games.
