He is survived by his former wife and Betsy, sons Chris and John. He was preceded to Heaven by his son Peter. George served as a naval officer on cruisers and destroyers he held corporate positions for eight years, and worked as an entrepreneur in the health industry. He taught small business management and accounting as an adjunct professor at a college level for five years and started a health corporation in 1991 which became very profitable. He then sold it and retired in 2004. He was also a dedicated conservationist and in turn lost a career business because he stood up for nature rather than wealth.
Mr. Hunt did lots of personal research in religions and sciences, and through the years became very involved with uncovering details of corruption and possible conspiracies in the banking industry. George was a very charitable and friendly person and always helped those in need and made many friends through doing so.
ed note: We at Boulder Channel 1 were graced with his presence through helping him with creating his website and producing his videos which he will continue to distribute after his passing through his website and social media outlets. May his soul rest in peace.
Book Review by Donna Marek
The Treason of Mary Louvestre published by Koehler Book Author Dr. My Haley
On Saturday, September 7, I happened to be at Barnes & Noble
Bookstore in Boulder and met author Dr. My Haley, widow of famed
author Alex Haley (“Roots”). She collaborated with her husband
on that book, worked in tandem with him and they married in 1977.
She was at B & N for her book signing
of The Treason of Mary Louvestre published by Koehler Books.
Dr. Haley is a lovely woman, with a PhD in Communications who teaches at a University.

My Haley
When I walked into the area, she was alone with her publicist which
was a good opportunity to have a candid talk about her writing. We did. I chose not to talk about her husband because I thought it was her special day.
Haley’s book is a historical drama based on real events involving the civil war and espionage against the confederacy.
She told me she is excited to have written the book
about the brave heroine, Mary Louvestre, who was a seamstress in her mid 50’s in 1861.
Louvestre stole plans to the USS Virginia and thereby committed
treason. Instead of facing death for her acts as a spy, she traveled
through a storm to meet with the Secretary of Navy. Later she received awards for her work.
This is the first of 6 books in a series in the works for Dr. Haley.
Upon leaving, I wished her continued success and told her I was
going to walk through the store and send people her way.
Evidently it worked. The next day the store’s manager told
me that numerous people did attend her signing.
Lovely afternoon for the “per-chance” meeting.
Artist Wood Worker Kerry Stoen and Visual Artist Patrick Williams will come together for a stunning night of Art, Friday, June 7 at CS Woods in Denver. This is a not to be missed, one night only show premiering the exquisite and visionary wood working of Kerry Stoen and the sensual, radically creative work of Patrick Williams.

Natural wood art
The pair met at a martial arts dojo a few years back which sparked an immediate creative kinship between the two, thus conceiving of a collaborative exhibition in a space outside of the box of the mainstream gallery scene. The show will premier a new collection of Stoen’s tables; supremely crafted, organically whimsical, imagistically daring pieces built by the hands of a master wood worker who has been making high end functional objects and installations for over 40 years.

radically creative art
Williams, an internationally collected artist whose work ranges from simple Japanese influenced Sumi paintings to technically brilliant, emotionally layered large scale figurative drawings,(and everything in between) has gathered together a sampling of his 38 years of art making. Williams’ large scale drawings and paintings will be installed on stacks of lumber in the warehouse.
He has always delighted in showing his work in unconventional spaces; raw, organic environments where “art and people can breathe together, movement and conversation less inhibited.”
