#Bouldercounty OEM says Evacs in place for the night #boulderfire

Boulder County office of OEM spokesperson Sarah Huntley tells Boulder Channel 1 news that Air tankers will stop droping retardant and water at dark and will resume at dawn if they are needed. ‘She also said, that they decided to keep all evacuations in effect until the morning “when we can make some decisions about letting people back in..
Though there are mandatory evacuations some residents have chosen to stay in their homes Huntly said and ” we don’t have the resources nor desire to go door to door and start pulling people from their homes.”

This fire has come to an end. It is no more than 20 acres in total. No structures or homes seem to have been lost as of last reports. Winds are down to 3 mph. For all practical purposes this fire is contained and under control though officials have not stated it.
This Dome Fire has been nothing like the Four Mile fire of labor day weekend. Any further reporting by us on this event would be milking the situation. Though some electricity has been turned off in the city and there have been evacuations, the fire does not pose a threat to life or property and it is receding. It should be completely over tonight and residents should not be frightened. With hope everyone will be back home with the power back on. Good Day.
