            2013-2014 MBB Season Banquet
Apr 10th
The men’s basketball team at CU celebrated the 2013-2014 season with its end-of-the-year banquet Wednesday evening at George Boedecker Jr. Practice Gym.
The Buffaloes capped the season with their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance and fourth-straight 20-win season.
CU finished the campaign 23-12 and a 10-8 Pac-12 Conference record. The 23 wins were the third-most in school history and the 10 wins in conference play tied five others schools for third overall. Due to head-to-head scenarios and tie-breakers, CU was the fifth seed at the conference tournament.
Among the awards presented Wednesday night were the Jay Humphries Assist Award (Askia Booker) and the Stephane Pelle Rebounding Award (Josh Scott) for most assists and rebounds, respectively during the season.

            CU Looses 13-5 to Stanford
Apr 8th
STANFORD, Calif. – The No. 8 Stanford Cardinal proved too strong a foe, taking down the Buffaloes 13-5 here Sunday, even though The University of Colorado lacrosse team battled back to within three goals late in the first half.
The reigning Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament champions came out to a 5-0 start, but back-to-back goals by the Buffs helped trim their lead to three. Stanford quickly got back to form, closing the first half on a 4-0 run.
Though the Cardinal dominated the draw in the second half, eight to one (15 to five total), the Buffs found their stride in other ways late in the game. Stanford continued to push its lead, but for the sixth consecutive game, the Buffs held their opponent to five or fewer goals in the final 30 minutes.
