We speak with the ticket vendors for the famous Rubber Duck Race that goes down the Boulder Creek, all proceeds of the race go to help disabled people in part with the Expand organization in Boulder and the event takes place on Memorial Day where some 7,000 ducks are dropped into the Boulder Creek near the Public Library and the race winners receive special prizes in recognition of their accomplishment and support.
We visit the Colorado Greyhound Adoption booth at the Boulder Creek, an organization helping greyhounds find better homes to live in.
Caitlin Balch-Burnett tells us about the Defenders of Wildlife organization and how they work to protect the wildlife habitat around us and preserve and create policies for wildlife conservation.
