We visit Rhonda from Cottonwood Kennels at the Paws in the Park event for the Longmont Humane Society and she shows us some of the fun things they have for visitors and tells us about their big win again for the 2017 People’s Choice as Best Pet Care Facility in Boulder County.

What can you say about a business that has won a Boulder County Gold award every year since 2003? That’s 15 years, enough to get you in the Hall of Fame (if there was such a place).
Cottonwood Kennels must be doing a whole lot of things right. The staff at Cottonwood Kennels is big on the pet-to-person connections they form with their four-legged guests. The setting, on a small farm, is ideal for canines who love the outdoor play areas, socializing with other dogs, and personal attention they get from a staff who are all “dog people”. Older dogs get special attention and don’t have to ruff it up with the young tail waggers if they don’t want to. Cats get a sunny space with a catnapping bay window, climbing tree and kitty cave that begs to be explored. We’re just hoping they have a big enough wall to display their fifteenth Boulder County Gold award.
