Public Review of and Feedback for the Mathematics Core Instructional Materials Adoption

All BVSD students, school faculty and staff, parents, and community members are invited to participate in the adoption of the core instructional materials for mathematics by reviewing the materials and providing feedback to the committee.
Community members may examine the materials being considered for adoption in the following three ways: 1) Examine the materials in person by attending a Public Review Open House
Times for all review sessions: 4:00-7:00 pm
Location: Education Center, 6500 Arapahoe Rd., Boulder, Professional Development Center Conference Rooms [includeme src=”http://c1n.tv/boulder/media/bouldersponsors.html” frameborder=”0″ width=”670″ height=”300″]
2) Examine the materials in person between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday 3) Examine the materials online through the Math Department Website. Start at the Instructional Materials Adoption page of the Math Department website. Click the link for the math grade level/course you will be reviewing:
Click the link of the program or text you would like to review. This will take you to the publisher’s website. Reviewers may provide their feedback to the adoption committees in two ways: 1) Complete a feedback form at the Education Center during a Public Review Open House or during regular business hours. 2) Complete a feedback form online from any computer with internet access. Start at the Instructional Materials Adoption page of the Math Department website Click the link for the math grade level/course you will be reviewing. Click on the Take Our Survey Button. Fill out the form and click “submit.” |
Early Voting Begins Monday in Boulder, Longmont

Boulder County – Polling place voters who don’t want to wait until Election Day to cast their ballot can visit an early voting site beginning Monday.
The Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office is opening two early voting sites on Monday, Oct. 22:
- · Boulder: 1750 33rd Street
- · Longmont: 529 Coffman Street
Both locations will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 27).
Additional early voting sites in Boulder, Longmont and Lafayette will open on Monday, Oct. 29. The last day for early voting in Boulder County is Friday, Nov. 2.
Voters who’d prefer to vote by mail ballot but haven’t requested one can still contact the Clerk & Recorder’s office to do so. They can call 303-413-7740 or visit BoulderCountyVotes.org for more information.
Voters can visit BoulderCountyVotes.org to view ballot content, find their Election Day polling place, check that their voted mail ballot was received, or find more information about the election.
Key Dates for the 2012 General Election:
• Week of Oct. 15: Mail ballots sent to voters who requested them.
• Monday, Oct. 22: Early voting begins. Locations and hours are available at BoulderCountyVotes.org.
• Tuesday, Oct. 30: Last day to request a mail ballot for the General Election if the ballot is mailed.
• Friday, Nov. 2: Last day to request a mail ballot for the General Election if the ballot is picked up at the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder’s office.
• Friday, Nov. 2: Last day for early voting.
• Tuesday, Nov. 6: Election Day. Polling locations will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. All ballots must be in the hands of the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office by 7 p.m.
Out of town on Election Day? You have options.

Boulder County, Colo. – Planning to be out of town on Election Day? The Boulder County Clerk and Recorder’s Office offers several options for travelers, overseas military, college students and others who can’t vote in person on Tuesday, Nov. 6:
- Vote by mail-in ballot. If you aren’t signed up to vote by mail-in ballot, it’s not too late. Visit www.BoulderCountyVotes.org soon to request one. Then vote and return it to a drop-off site or Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s office by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
- Vote at an early voting location. If you’d prefer not to receive a mail-in ballot but won’t be in town to head to your polling place on Election Day, early voting is a great option. Early voting begins Monday, Oct. 22, at our Boulder and Longmont branch offices. Additional early voting locationswill open Oct. 29 in Boulder, Lafayette and Longmont. Early voting runs through Friday, Nov. 2.
- Request an overseas/military ballot. If you’ll be out of the country altogether, you can still request a ballot and receive it via snail mail or email – but contact us soon, because mailing a ballot overseas takes extra time. These voters have until Nov. 14 to return their ballots as long as they’re postmarked no later than Nov. 6.
