At first I thought this film was was made by South Park. It is stupid, ridiculous and so poorly made it is silly. Innocence of Muslims is the Muhammad Movie by Sam Bacile. The idea that Radical Islamists are protesting all over the world and killing Americans over it is even more ridiculous.

Are we at a cultural divide or what? But in all seriousness , we have to remember that people from this religion attacked our country and blew up the Wold Trade Centers not once but twice. Now they are trying to storm our US Embassies in the Arab world over a stupid movie?? Is that what this is about. Insult??
America is going to have to rethink how we are going to deal with these people. They are at war with us and there doesn’t seem to be any room for negotiation. How do you negotiate with barbarians with 4th century interpretations of the Koran.
We never should have given these people their freedom when we discovered oil there. But now that we ( the civilized world) have, we are going to need to take it back: country by country. The civilized Arabs like the Saudi need to help us too.
The US, France, Britain, Russia and China need to go back in there with an army of 5 Million Allied troops, conquer all of these bad countries and put an end to this bullshit. Old school. WWII style. We need to get rid of the crazy Mullahs. shut down the bad Mosques, kill a bunch of these people, imprison the rest and drag these tortured desert maniacs kicking and screaming into the 21st century. We need to civilize them the same way we did the Nazis and Japanese. They won’t quit til we do.
Where are Patton and Romel when we need them back in Egypt , Lybia and Tunisia?
I know our president apologized to them. But there is a hard rain a gonna fall on the Arab world. and it is about to come from all of us. My hope is that all of the big powerful countries of all religions will join together and teach these people “what would Mohamed do” he’d kill them.
We had North Africa during World War II. We never should have let it go. We backed the Arab Spring and now they have all gone power mad, are stealing our money , our good will and are killing Americans. Time to bring this to a swift end. We need to conquer and Occupy the Middle East and have good peaceful Muslems run things. But not with out the boot of Russia, China, and the USA.

US fire fighting Air Attack fleet terribly inadequate

This is nothing new. The condition of Americas fire fighting fleet has gone from horrible in the 1990s to terrible in 2012. The United States government has let us down. They have not provided the air attack fleet necessary to protect the American people from the 200 devouring Forrest fires that are destroying the USA this summer.
In the 1990s and early 2000′s America used old WWII bombers to fight fires. Many of them crashed. In 2012 the US has less than 250 aircraft contracted and some of them sit while fires rage across America. They sit because the US Forest Service refuses to pay them. In other cases Air National guard C-130s now sit because of the poor training given guard pilots to fight forest fires. They have been crashing too.

The US has thousands of big airplanes capable of being retrofitted to carry water and retardants to wild land fires,but the government has completely lost it’s way.
Sitting here typing at a computer in a smoke filled room in Boulder Colorado, this week I have seen first hand the devastation cause by forest fires to Colorado cities. Where was the air attack in the early hours of these fires? Parked in hangers 1000′s of miles away.
The US needs at least 100 air tankers It has 32. They need them on the tarmac in Denver ready to in 10 minutes not two day latter after the fire has destroyed 100′s of homes as happened in Ft Collins Colorado in June. We need another 300 air attack panes of all sizes. We need 400 helicopters ready to go. We need an air fleet of 1500 aircraft capable of carrying water to fight fires. We have 232. Just terrible.
What’s left when the air attack does not come. America is burning and our government has let us down. Shame on them.The Department of the Interior, FEMA USFS, Congress, Senate, Air force, National Guard have all let America down. This is Katrina all over again and it is happening on president Obama’s watch. It is also happening in my state and I am sick of watching it burn. Obama needs to take responsibility and get us the air fleet we need. End all the buck passing.

Jann Scott’s Journal is the story and life of Boulder Icon and talk host Jann Scott. He has been in print, on radio and on TV in Boulder since 1989. Some consider him the voice of Boulder’s soul.
In the small New England town of 4,000 where I grew up, there were a lot of war vets. My dad was a wounded war vet from WWII. The north town cemetery has graves from the American Revolution on up. In front of the library on main street is a memorial to the men and women who served in WWII. There are over 500 names on it. 32 have white crosses next to them.

Over 10& of our towns population served. Every man of fighting age served and many of the women. In the early 50′s the war was
American children who have lost fathers of brothers in war
still fresh in peoples minds and there were some big parades on Memorial Day. My dad marched in some but, then after a while mostly everybody wanted to forget the war. But everybody came out for the parade and they all gathered around the memorial for taps when the names of the war dead were read out loud. Everybody cried too. I didn’t understand. I was only 5 or 6 at the time.
But I do remember little Sally McNulty crying. She was two years older than me and seemed to be the only little kid crying. My dad would pick her up and tell her it would be OK and that a lot of people in our town loved her. Then he would buy her an Ice Cream cone and it would be over.
Later when I was in high school Sally had come to work for my families business and we sort of hit off a friendship. that consisted of me helping her baby sit, drinking a six pack of beer and making out.
But Sally had never gotten over her fathers death. He was killed at Anzio when she was just two years old, but she remembered him. Her mom who looked just like Sally drank a bit to cover her pain. She never remarried. Sally said she felt so out of place because she didn’t have a father and she hated to explain “that no her parents weren’t divorced, that they loved each other very much and that my father was killed in the war”. Gulp. I didn’t know a lot of kids who lost someone in the war. But it wasn’t a joking matter. It was sobering.
A picture of Sally’s father sat on a table in the living room of her house in 1965. He was a smiling handsome guy of about 22. And he was dead. ” It has really affected my mom and I she said. We have been pretty unhappy for the last 20 years.
Now at 66 I have a lot of stories like this. My friend Anne lost her brother in Vietnam while she was a CU Junior. Anne was an intern at the newspaper I worked at. To this day she hosts a memorial for her brother at her Boulder home. She hasn’t forgotten.
We should all remember the families of those who have fallen on this memorial day.

Well that’s an awesome headline…statement…concept. It is not a new one, certainly not radical. It is the reality of subduing an enemy. Total war. All out war. Conquest…surrender.. occupation and re education.
You may say this sound like madness. Or ask what the hell are you talking about?
You won’t be saying that if radical Islamic elements of a middle eastern country drops several real nukes on American cities. Imagine seeing New York city in flames after a middle eastern Muslim country detonates a high powered nuke in lower Manhattan and renders half of the eastern seaboard uninhabitable.??
Then what I am saying won’t seem so crazy. You will wonder , how could this have happened?.
I am convinced that it will happen. I am also convinced at this point that president Obama has no idea what he is doing or is up against. He reminds me of early attempts by Brittan to negotiate with the Nazis. It was bullshit and caused WWII. I claim we are already in the early stages of WWIII. There is no negotiating with radical Islam. They are bound and determined to destroy the west put us all under Sha’aria law and live in their simple desert world alone while we burn.
So here’s my plan. Afghanistan is a lost cause. We already lost that war. The Taliban have shadow governments in most of its provenances, just waiting for us to leave. Between them and Pakistan they have the money and wherewithal to nuke us and they will when we exit Afghanistan.
Other countries of concern are Iran, actually the whole damn middle east and north Africa and North Korea.
But lets talk about the middle East. If we sent an invasion force to the middle East, conquered them occupied them and drag them kicking and screaming int the 21 century, we may be able to save the world. Otherwise we are going to burn in our homes here in America. When I say an invasion force I am talking about an allied force of 1 or 2 million troops. No fooling around. Occupy every city town mountain and out post and put an end to Afghanistan as it exists right now. Occupy it the way we occupied Japan and Germany after WWI. Build bases there and leave them there. Kill there heroin production and kill anyone who fights us. and then move right across the middle east WWII style. We have been fighting in the middle east since the 1980s and we could have ended this a long time ago. Or we can just stay home and wait for the nukes. It’s a shit sandwich and we are going to have to take a bite.
Also, as far as I am concerned Obama or Romney: they are both the same. neither are capable of leading this country from nuclear annihilation. Actually, they are both cut from the same cloth. Nice guys. Civilized. Unfortunately, there are a bunch of barbarians out there who aim to kill us all, very soon.
So this is well beyond petty American politics.
