Jann's Great American Road Trip heads south of the U.S. border to the Mexican Caribbean and Playa del Carmen on the Riviera Maya. Playa del Carmen has often been a very hip spot for boulderites. The Riviera Maya is a created stretch of vacation resorts stretching from Cancun to Tulum. We visit Secrets Capri an all inclusive luxury romantic resort. Then to Xcaret Eco archeological park in the Yucatan rain forest. Then we visit Mayan Indian Ruins at Tulum and Coba. Plus we went snorkeling,shopping in Playa del Carmen and to Momitas beach club. The Great American Road Trip stayed at the Southern Most Hotel and Resorts Properties voted Best Place to stay in Key West. You have to eat at Camille's also voted best restaurant in Key West. We rented mopeds from Moped Hospital.It is the only way to get around Key West. Though I must tell you Ford gave us an Expedition for our two months in the keys taping this series. First we visit Key Largo and stay at the Holiday Inn Resort and marina. Then I go diving at OLN's star Capt. Slates Atlantis dive Center then its on to the African Queen, and dinner at MRs Macks world famous kitchen. We also went to the Caribbean club where the Bogart movie Key Largo was filmed.[READ|SHARE]
