The Boulder Restaurant Channel and Search Engine lists every restaurant in Boulder from A to Z and by category. It puts up their website, phone number, address, food categories, a map and review section from Google. Plus we list weather and Boulder movies all in one site. It is updated daily and we are locally produced by people not computers. BoulderRestaurants1.com. Some listings have a TV icon. We shot TV segments you can visit the restaurant before you go. The videos actually play on the Boulder Restaurant Channel Homepage 24/7 streaming. You can scroll down the More videos and click on any restaurant you want to see. Each video is 3 minutes . Our polling and focus groups show people in Boulder go out to dinner and then a movie so if you click on Dinner and a Movie, it will take you to this weeks movie listing. Our weather link on each page takes you NOAA Boulder weather. We also provide a restaurant coupon section for free dinners and two for one special. You’ll notice on the left cooking video blogs by Boulder chefs. These are 3 minute TV shows about favorite recipes. At the top of each page there are sponsored links. We pretty much get to know all of our sponsored restaurants and since Boulder is a small city. We consider them friends. The Boulder Restaurant Channel and Search Engine expanded from The Boulder Restaurant Show which appeared on Channel 54 and more recently on channel 5 with host Jann Scott. The new channel search engine is an online media format. We are part of Channel 1 Networks here in Boulder and have been in the restaurant scene since 1975 when we wrote the Book of Boulder Bar and Restaurant Hopping, Jann wrote that “classic ” We started this site in 2005 and decided to make it the most user friendly restaurant site in Boulder. Top Chef culinary students competing in the Daytona Rolex 24 Grand Marshal Dinner Challenge #Food #foodies #boulder

The second annual Taste of the 24, billed as an “outrageously unique dining event†that doubles as a fundraiser for the Daytona State College Foundation, will take place on Saturday, Jan. 29 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. high atop the Daytona International Speedway Superstretch grandstands.
“This a great opportunity for folks to come out and enjoy outstanding food and the spectacle that is the Rolex 24 at Daytona, while at the same time helping to support student scholarships and campus growth initiatives at Daytona State College,†said Donna Sue Sanders, Foundation vice president.

Daytona State culinary students competing in the Rolex 24 Grand Marshal Dinner Challenge will vie for a $500 cash prize along with two VIP Rolex 24 hospitality packages, courtesy of International Speedway Corp.
“More than anything, it will be a learning experience for the students,†said Rick Florsheim, chair of the college\’s Hospitality and Culinary Management program. “They will submit a three-course menu with recipes, a shopping list and a plan on how they are going to pull off a service for 175 people.â€
The top three entries will be judged the week prior to the race, then the winning student chef will work with Americrown to prepare and serve the cuisine during an invitation only event at the Speedway on Jan. 28.
Meanwhile, the Taste of the 24 will feature a delicious blend of food and fast cars, with access all weekend long to the endurance race and Sprint FANZONE. Patrons can enjoy food from 24 of the area\’s finest restaurants, a cigar bar, live jazz, beer and wine from around the world, and a chance to win a Rolex watch. The Taste of the 24 will take place in 24 private corporate suites located above the Superstretch grandstands. Food service will be available from 6 to 10 p.m. on Jan. 29.
Seating is limited, so make reservations early. Tickets are $75 per person and include free event parking through Gate 70, Taste of the 24 event admission and one weekend pass to the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Or, pay $95 for Taste of the 24 admission, parking, a weekend race pass and a chance to win a Rolex watch. Tickets for children 12 and under may be purchased at the door for $24.

Centro gets killed in Top Chef

Oh my God. Boulder’s Centro Melissa Harrison Soo chef was such an arrogant snot, that not only was her food “inedible”, her demeanor and personality was so piss poor….she showed the worst of the Boulder’s arrogance. The hosts of the show ripped up one side and down the other over it. Jesus Christ!
