Boulder police –Well-disguised robber hits Circle K on 28th

Robbery suspect sought in Circle K hold-up
Boulder police are looking for a suspect they believe is responsible for robbing the Circle K store at 3185 28th St. on Jan. 8, 2012. The robbery occurred at 11:12 p.m.
The male clerk told police that a customer had loitered in the store for several minutes before approaching the counter and demanding cash from the register. The suspect did not show a weapon, and the clerk complied with the suspect’s request for money. The clerk was not hurt.
It’s not known if the suspect is male or female because the suspect’s face was not visible during the robbery. He/she was wearing a maroon or red-colored hoodie, tied tightly around his or her face with a white drawstring. The suspect is:
- 5’10” tall, with broad shoulders
- Dark eyes, wearing eyeshadow & mascara
- Boot-cut blue jeans with a tear or hole in the left knee
- Long black gloves
- Black fabric shoes
The case number is P12-347.
There is no other information available.
Police would like to speak with anyone who recognizes the suspect, or who may have information about the robbery of the Circle K store. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-444-3776. Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
