Assault suspect from 2012 bar fight still wanted by police

The male victim was in the restroom when the male suspect tried to enter the stall. The two men pushed each other and at one point, the suspect attacked the victim with a beer bottle. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries which included a concussion, cuts to his head and face and wounds on his chest and arms from the beer bottle.
The suspect fled the bar, and the victim believes a friend of the suspect tried to detain the victim as the suspect got away. The suspect was seen running westbound across 13th St. and through a parking lot. Police were unable to locate him.
At the time of the assault, the Boulder Police Department released a composite sketch and a description of the suspect. The suspect has not yet been identified and police are publicizing the information again, hoping that a member of the public may recognize the suspect and contact police.
The sketch is attached. The suspect is described as:
· White male
· 21 – 29 years old
· 6’0 – 6’3” tall, weighing 180 – 200 pounds
· Build was described as “not toned”
· Short blonde hair which may have been bleached or highlighted
· Witnesses described him as a “surfer type”
· At the time of the assault, was wearing a light-colored shirt or white shirt with blue pinstripes
· May have been bleeding from his mouth, and may have had a cut over his left eye

Boulder police looking for assault suspect which took place around 4 p.m. on Colorado Ave near 28th

Boulder police are investigating an assault which took place between 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 in the area of 28th and Colorado.
The female victim told police she was walking alone on eastbound Colorado toward 28th St. when she says she was grabbed from behind by an unknown male. The male grabbed her with his arm across her neck.
The victim was carrying a pepper spray-type canister in her hand at the time of the assault, and she was able to spray her attacker in his face. The suspect then hit the victim and yelled as the victim struggled to get away. The suspect fled the area. The victim called police and received medical treatment at the scene for injuries sustained during the attack.
The victim believes the suspect is a white male who was wearing a gray-colored, baggy sweatshirt with a dark blue or black knit stocking cap.
There were three bicyclists crossing the street in the area at the time of the attack who may have witnessed the incident. Police would like to speak to them to see if they can provide details about the suspect and the assault. Police would also like to talk with any motorists or pedestrians who may have seen the incident.
Police are working to identify the suspect. He may have red or watery eyes, and he may have had a distinct odor of pepper spray on his person or clothes last night.

Boulder police release sketch of injured robbery/assault suspect

The Boulder Police Department continues to investigate four robbery/assault cases which have occurred during the past month. The latest incident occurred on Nov. 27, 2012, when a 25-year-old male jogger was attacked as he ran along the Boulder Creek path in the area of 3rd and Canyon. The assault took place around 6:30 a.m.
The victim told police that an unknown male yelled and when the victim turned around, the unknown male suspect began punching and kicking him. As the assault escalated, two other male suspects began attacking the victim. They also attempted to steal his wallet.
The victim fought back and may have seriously injured one of the suspects. The victim believes the orbital bone (eye socket) on the suspect’s face may be broken. That suspect is depicted in the attached composite sketch.
The main (sketch) suspect is described as a white male who is 6’ tall and who weighs 225 pounds. He had a brown beard and was wearing a beanie cap, flannel jacket and steel-toed construction boots.
The second suspect is described as a white male who is 5’8” tall. He has a medium build and a closely-cropped brown beard. He was wearing construction-style pants (possibly Carhartt brand) and a baseball cap. His right hand may be injured.
The third suspect is a dark-skinned white or Hispanic male. This suspect spoke some Spanish during the assault. He’s 5’6” tall and has a sparse, black mustache. He wore jeans and a large-patterned shirt over a hoodie. He also wore plain, colored Van-type shoes.
