“Armed” suspects hit Lolita’s

Two suspects wanted in connection with robbery at grocery store
Boulder police are investigating an Aggravated Robbery which took place at Lolita’s Market, 800 Pearl St., on Dec. 9, 2013.
Two suspects dressed in black hoodies entered the store at 10:48 p.m. and demanded cash from the clerk. Their hoods were pulled tight around their faces and they were possibly wearing masks or neck gaiters. One of the suspects’ claimed to have a gun, though the clerk never saw a weapon. The men stole cash and cigarettes before leaving the store on foot, ultimately heading south along 8th St. No one was injured.
One suspect is wearing a hoodie with large white lettering written down the sleeve. The other suspect is wearing a hoodie with some kind of pattern across the front.
The case number is 13-16378.

Boulder police: Conoco clerk robbed at gunpoint

A clerk reported the male entered the store armed with a small silver semi-automatic style handgun, placed the muzzle of the gun at the clerk’s head and demanded cash. The victim believes the suspect was then startled by a car approaching the gas station which prompted him to exit the store.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who spoke with an accent, black eyes, between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask with a black handkerchief covering his nose and mouth. The suspect’s photo and a video of the robbery are attached. The case number is 13-15580.

Couple robbed at gunpoint on Flagstaff

Boulder County Sheriff’s Deputies responded and found two victims, a male and female couple, who reported that they had parked at the Realization Point Trailhead and began hiking up Flagstaff Summit Road toward the Flagstaff Amphitheater.
They stopped briefly at an overlook, where two males approached them. One of the males, described as about 6 feet tall and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, shined a bright flashlight at them and pointed what appeared to be a handgun at them.
The other male, described as about 5’8” tall and wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, ordered the couple to place all of their belongings on the ground. The male then picked up their belongings, and both suspects ran back down toward the trailhead.
The victims remained where they were, and saw an unknown description vehicle driving down Flagstaff Road. The victims recalled that when they parked at the trailhead, a silver possibly Toyota SUV was also parked there, which had since left. After a few minutes, the victims contacted another couple who were hiking down Flagstaff Summit Road, and used one of their cell phones to call 911.
