It is not a racial thing, except that it is. Boulder is 92% white. Black youth toughs cruising around the hill in a car are prime suspects and targets for police profiling. Although profiling is illegal, it is the way cops catch criminals who are brown or black. It is a racial odds play. Yes there are some rich black kids who go to CU… like about 10 out of 20,000 rich white kids.
CU boulder has always been a target for black, brown and Asian gangsters

from Denver.. Here is the police report:
Boulder police investigate robbery

“On Oct. 1, 2017 at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Pi Beta Phi sorority house, 890 11th St. in response to a robbery that had just occurred.

Three females were sitting in a vehicle outside the house when they were approached by three males wearing dark clothing who had either bandanas or ski masks covering their faces. The males opened the front and rear passenger doors of the vehicle. One was holding a black handgun and yelled at the women to get out of the car. All of women exited the vehicle and ran from the scene. One suspect was seen inside the car and shortly afterwards all of the suspects fled westbound on foot.

One of the suspects is described as a dark-skinned male and another was wearing a dark colored t-shirt with a light colored long sleeve shirt underneath and was average height and weight.

No one was injured during the robbery and it appears as though theft was the suspects’ motivation. No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate.

The case number is 17-12986.

Anyone who may have additional information about this case should call Detective Sharon Ramos at 303-441-3323. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers”

Growth or No Growth for Boulder ? vote

Oct 1st

Boulder 14 city council candidates give their platform (more or less) in 35 minutes. The deciding factor is are they Pro growth or Not? The pro-growth candidates are tricky and not forth coming. They use buzz words as “business, economy, startups, technology”
The problem with Pro-growthers is that they have been brainwashed by business concerns to believe they are meeting the need.
The Boulder economy is the best on Colorado and the Job rate is excellent.. Now comes protecting what we have built over the past 100 years.Boulder could end up looking like South east Denver with your wrong vote.
It looks to us that these will most likely be the elected officials: Ed Byrnes, Cyndy Carlisle, Bill Rigler, Sam Weaver and Mary Young. They are the strongest candidates and the most progressive. As it happens they will be no growthers and put an end to the out of control building downtown.

Cottonwood Kennels: Best For Pets! & Best Pet Boarding Service 2017

Cottonwood Kennels: Best For Pets! & Best Pet Boarding Service 2017What can you say about a business that has won a Boulder County Gold award every year since 2003? That’s 15 years, enough to get you in the Hall of Fame (if there was such a place).

Cottonwood Kennels must be doing a whole lot of things right. The staff at Cottonwood Kennels is big on the pet-to-person connections they form with their four-legged guests. The setting, on a small farm, is ideal for canines who love the outdoor play areas, socializing with other dogs, and personal attention they get from a staff who are all “dog people”. Older dogs get special attention and don’t have to ruff it up with the young tail waggers if they don’t want to. Cats get a sunny space with a catnapping bay window, climbing tree and kitty cave that begs to be explored. We’re just hoping they have a big enough wall to display their fifteenth Boulder County Gold award.
