Gorgeous Food with Jena Latham and her Appetizer Plate. Continuing our support for charities everywhere we learn about the Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence and our weekly movie review by Dan Culberson of The Golden Compass in theaters now. Colorado Magazine celebrates its’ first Christmas with Food, Fashion and Holiday Spirit. First we visit Bailey’s Wine and Spirits in Boulder and check out their large selection of fine wines, Then Jann grabs some breakfast at the Original Pancake House of Boulder and we go holiday shopping at Swiss Chalet Watch and Clock Shop. Continuing our holiday show we host our internet video blogs with Fruehauf’s Home and Patio Show, Baking with Scott from the Great Harvest Bread Company in Boulder, TTS Auto Tips with Doug Duncan. From Opus Restaurant, Michael Long’s 3 Minute Gourmet, Hotshots Movie Reviews with Dan Culberson looks at the movie Awake in Theaters now, and wrapping up the show with a holiday special, Aaron goes to Disney World and looks at decorations from all over the parks on this Christmas Special of Colorado Magazine.

Colorado Magazine December 10th – 16th, 2007 – Charities Special

It’s the time of giving and to show our support, Colorado Magazine host a charities special with a few great local non-profit companies who we host on our website BoulderChannel1.com, we start with a short description by Jenn of what our website is about and then we visit with Art Cleaners and learn about their Coats for Kids program. Giving all the food they don’t use to the Community Food Share is Munson Farms in Boulder. Planned Parenthood helps families in need as well as the Emergency Family Assistance Association known as (EFAA), we visit with the Peanut Butter Players a program that helps kids with confidence and we watch them perform the story Cinderella at the Boulder Theater, then Karen Worminghaus and learn about how Boulder Car Share can help those in need of transportation. Then Nancy Coleman shows her support for the National Alliance on Mental Illness known as (NAMI). Also helping families find their way is the Compass House Treatment Center. On this holiday special of Colorado Magazine.
