A British history buff was asked if he could find out who the colonial registrar was for Mombasa in 1961.

I compared my birth certificate to the one that has been put out by Taitz and mine is exactly the same. I even have the same registrar and format. The type is identical. They magnified it and determined it to be authentic. There is even a plaque with Registrar Lavenders name on it as he was a Brit and was in charge of the Registrar office from 1959 until January of 1964. The reason the date on the certificate says republic of Kenya is that we were a republic when the “copy” of the original was ordered. I stress the word “copy”. My copy also has republic of Kenya . So what you say is true about Kenya not being a republic at the time of Obama’s
birth, however it was a republic when the copy was ordered.
The birth certificate is genuine. I assure you it will be authenticated by a forensic auditor. We are very proud Obama was born here. We have a shrine for him and there are many people who remember his birth here as he had a white mother. They are being interviewed now by one of your media outlets.
Fortunately they even have pictures of his parents with him immediately after his birth at the Mombasa hospital with the hospital in the back ground.
It will be a proud day for us when it is proven that he was born here and a Kenyan became the most powerful man in the world.

In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency, the
group “Americans for Freedom of Information” has released copies of President Obama’s
college transcripts from Occidental College …..
The transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a
foreign student from Indonesia while an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released
by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the
Superior Court of California . The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial
aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program.
To qualify for this scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.
This document provides the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking –
that he is NOT a natural-born citizen of the United States – necessary to be President of these
United States. Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya , here we see that there is
no record of him ever applying for US citizenship..
Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation
of Obama’s campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000
in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block
disclosure of any of his personal records.
Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still on-going but that the final report will be provided
to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused comment on this matter.

If Obama had been born on the Planet Jupiter to an American mother that would make him an American citizen. If you don’t believe me, ask John McCain who was born to an American mother in the Panama Canal Zone.
Barack Hussein Obama II was born August 4, 1961 at the Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya and not in Hawaii as he claims. This may explain why he refuses to allow Hawaii to release of a long-form copy of his birth certificate. The fascinating story of how Lucas Daniel Smith obtained a certified copy of Obama’s birth certificate directly from the birth hospital on February 19, 2009 is included as part of his ‘July 4, 2010 Letter to Congress’, which is also available for free download at the same website.
The Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth (COLB) foisted upon a confused American public by Mr. Obama neither identifies nor bears a signature of the attending doctor and it does not even name the birth hospital…. Tim Adams, senior election official during the 2008 presidential campaign, has sworn an affidavit stating that no birth certificate for Obama existed in Hawaii at that time.

This is what the National Review said about the “born in Kenya” myth:
“The theory that Obama was born in Kenya, that he was smuggled into the U.S., and that his parents somehow hoodwinked Hawaiian authorities into falsely certifying his birth in Oahu, is crazy stuff.”
Obama has shown the official birth certificaet of Hawaii. Yes, it is a shsort-form birth certificate, and that is why it does not show the name of the doctor or the hospital. But short-form birth certificates are not supposed to show the name of the doctor or the hospital. But it is the same birth certificate that THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE use in Hawaii every year. It is accepted by the US State Department for passports and by the branches of the US military.
The facts on Obama’s birth certificate were confirmed by three Republican officials in Hawaii. The allegations of forgery were checked out by the McCain and Hillary campaigns, and found to be false. And the attorney general of Hawaii for the last four years was a Conservative Republican who could have taken action if he thought that there was a forgery or that the officials were lying, but he didn’t.

The “birth certificate” that you reference is a well-known forgery, shown by Lucas Smith, a convicted felon. And Lucas Smith did not even show that he had gone to Kenya. All he would have had to have done was to show his US passport page with the Kenya stamp on it, but he didn’t even do that.

1) The facts on Obama’s official birth certificate were confirmed by THREE Republican officials in Hawaii.
2) There were notices of Obama’s birth in the newspapers in Hawaii in 1961 (and those were not ads. The newspapers did not accept birth notice ads in 1961. They only took their notices from the department of vital records, which did not issue notices unless there was proof of birth in Hawaii [They did NOT accept “walk in” birth registrations.]).
3) If a child were born in any other country than the USA, she or he would need a US visa or to be entered on the mother’s US passport in order to be allowed to enter the USA. If such a document existed for Obama, it would have to have been applied for, and the files of the applications for it would still exist–and NO SUCH DOCUMENT HAS BEEN FOUND.
Also, Obama’s Kenyan grandmother NEVER said that he was born in Kenya. This is a birther lie caused by deliberately cutting the tape before she was asked the question “where was he born?” She answered that question by saying Hawaii repeatedly, and stressing “where his father was studying at the time.” And, in another interview, she said that the first that her family in Kenya had heard of Obama’s birth was in a LETTER FROM HAWAII.
I am so happy that our President has completely ignored these birthers people who don’t have any facts in hand but just lies that FoxsNews AKA FakeNews spread with the blessing of the GOP (Gay Old Party). I enjoy seeing the birthers fail in our US Courts, dullards, win a case or as they say “put up or shut-up”. When I applied for a US Passport, I sent in my US birth certificate, as all US citizens have to send in. Long before our current President, became President, he applied and traveled under a US Passport by sending in his US birth certificate. But the birthers would like you to believe that there is a vast conspiracy, its the passport office, its the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the United States. Guess what its not them, if truth be told, it’s the crazy birthers. The birthers have no proof, just lies.
