Jeffery is one of 52 All-Region nominees nationwide from which the selection committee will pick a 10-member All-America Team. She was one of four from Region 8 joining Pac-12 Conference rivals Chiney Ogwumike of Stanford and the California duo of Gennifer Brandon and Layshia Clarendon.

She is Colorado’s first WBCA All-Region pick since Tera Bjorklund in 2004.

A 5-foot, 10-inch senior guard from Colorado Springs, Colo., Jeffery leads Colorado in scoring (13.9 ppg), assists (3.9 apg), rebounds (8.3 rpg) and steals (2.2 spg). She is prominent on the Pac-12 leaderboard ranking fourth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.3), fifth in steals and assists, sixth in overall rebounding and defensive rebounds (6.4 drpg), ninth in scoring and 13th in free-throw percentage (.709).

Jeffery was named All-Pac-12 for the second-straight year by both the media and the coaches. She also earned Pac-12 All-Tournament honors and was an honorable mention to the coaches’ All-Defensive team. Jeffery made national headlines in December, leading the Buffaloes to an upset win over then-No. 8 ranked Louisville earning espnW and U.S. Basketball Writers Association Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week honors.

Colorado, 25-6 overall, is the No. 5 seed in the Norfolk Region of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament and hosts No. 12 seed Kansas in a first-round game Saturday, March 23, at 4:40 p.m. at the Coors Events Center.
