WEBSITES WE DESIGNED, BUILT AND/OR MANAGE
Here’s a great example of a website we completely redeveloped and maintain all from our virtual offices here at Channel 1 Networks. Leather Headquarters is located in Las Vegas but we met Leather Headquarters at the 2015 Colorado Motorcycle Expo and produced a video for them in our TV special. They liked our work so much that we also did an analysis of their website and social media and what could be improved on, which Michael Snyder the owner turned all of it over to us and we Redesigned his whole website, started posting on his Facebook page, set him up with twitter and we maintain that as well. We also are helping Leather Headquarters with Google Adwords, Facebook Ads and promoting the large list of events they attend regularly.
We started helping Modern Homestead Solutions at the 2017 Denver Home Show with a video for their company and found that they also needed help with adding products to their online store. We helped them not only add all those products to their shop but also redesigned the website and created new webpages for products they wanted to also sell.
We’ve been working with GlassMat since 2005 when we produced a video for Marsha the owner. More recently we produced another video with her at the 2015 Denver Home Show and at the same time we helped them get setup with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+. We also provided them with an analysis of their website with some ideas on what improvements can be made to it and offered our services to help with the redevelopment of the site when they’re ready.
Theatrical Costumes Etc… is a unique place with 3 locations, an online job board website and as well they provide services for lots of different events, so they wanted us to produce a promotional video to cover all the services they provide and use our website services to create numerous display ads that run on all over the Channel 1 Networks sites as well as on their websites, Facebook, twitter and others. We continued our work with them and have produced many event and instructional videos as well as more promotional videos for them. We also helped out with their store’s website and created new pages and links to other projects they did on the side like the 365 Days of Costumes and Creators Board websites.
365 Days of Costumes
365 Days of Costumes was a project idea that we ran by the owners of Theatrical Costumes Etc.. in Boulder and they loved it, and it has been quite the hit in the fashion blogging world. The project is a website we developed the framework for and taught the employees of Theatrical Costumes Etc. in Boulder, how to post, run and manage, as well as providing some tips on taking photo, but they have gone entirely ‘Mad’ if you will, about this project and we hope that they continue their productions on this site for longer than the initial 365 days we we’re shooting for. This is also a great site that proves that just a few hours of personal design training and someone can take and run with a website to develop quite an exciting blog.
Boulder Army Store
Boulder Army Store was a website we took and redeveloped basically from the ground up but incorporated some of the elements that the previous web designers at the Daily Camera had used. The site was already hosted in WordPress so we too our skills in that and expanded it to also incorporate social media and blog integrations. Every week we update the homepage and new with the newspaper ads they run and seasonally we produce magazine style video segments to incorporate in our television shows and stream online. We also do PR and post stories on their social media outlets to help promote new products, events and sales in the store.
Swiss Chalet Timepieces Boulder
Swiss Chalet Timepieces is a website we developed after they found our video services to be helping promotions in the store, the first website layout was one we took on as a redevelopment to incorporate more of what they wanted to display to web visitors and we eventually moved the site to a new hosting company and redesigned it WordPress. After the move to WordPress we sat down with the employees and trained them how to make posts and updates online and we help them display events and news on the site. We have also perform IT services for the company when their computers or software aren’t preforming they way’s they need.
Perry’s Shoe Shop has been a long time sponsor of our television shows and we have produced numerous videos helping promote both their new and old shops in Boulder. We moved their site from an outdated and expensive hosting company to a much better one and then redeveloped it into a functioning display of what they do at the shop, incorporating videos we produced for them in the site as well. When they moved shop to their new location we did a second redevelopment of their website and used WordPress as their content management tool, which we sat down and trained them how to do website posts and change images and information on the pages when needed.
Fruehauf’s Patio Center was a redevelopment from the original store website, we kept only a few aspects of the first and incorporated a comprehensive list of patio collections and services that they do at the business. This list is still present on their tertiary offshoot of our website design, We also produced a few short informational videos to promote in-store deals and visited them multiple times for videos that were more in depth looks at the store and played on multiple televisions stations thought Colorado and online.
Universal Tiles was a “Simple as can be” website that was made to display the various styles of granite that the company could acquire, for the most part, in the production of table tops and patio sets. This was a start-up company that wanted a way to display their different styling options on a website for clients to select from. The business was short-lived but still an adventure of ours in web design and working with different industries to bring a larger web presence.
The Village Coffee Shop in Boulder has us design ads, gift-cards, share their news on social media as well we shoot various videos to help promote their restaurant in the local community.
South Mouth Wings was a restaurant we started off doing informational and promotional videos for and during the process we learned that they wanted to increase their online presence so we started helping them promote through online marketing using ad campaign tools on Facebook and promotions twitter. After they found our services very responsive in gaining over 700 likes in a short few weeks, we worked with him to utilize those likes and bring people to their website and as a result we redesigned and integrated their website with their Facebook page to include photos from Facebook albums, activity from their Facebook feed, and a whole redevelopment of their online menu.
Buddha Thai Cuisine had an older website that they couldn’t manage to modify the menu and update their hours so we provided them with a entirely new website that runs on a content management system they could manage when necessary. They also wanted us to redevelop their entire printed menu and so we visited with them many of times to gather all the information to provide them with a Dinner menu that they printed and now use in their restaurant today.
Original Pancake Houses in Seattle
We took the Original Pancake House in Boulder and moved it to 3 other restaurants in the franchise in the Seattle area. With Original Pancake House in Boulder we started by producing video segments for our television shows to help promote the restaurant, which attracted a much larger audience and the need for a website to be designed. With the website in place we also began into the photography realm and started to make slideshow like videos that play on the big screens at various times throughout the day to display the large variety of food and the wonderful staff. On top of that Boulderchannel1 has also hosted a booth and Live streaming video at an Original Pancake house charity event. Then in about 2011 we all decided the old website needed to be brought into the new millennium of social media so we converted the site to WordPress and it now offers even more interaction including linking to the Facebook page and twitter account we also developed. As well we can’t forget “Breakfast with Larry” a short video blog which has been hosted on many occasion online and on television.
Khow Thai Cafe constantly wins the best in Boulder for the Best Thai Restaurant and that’s how we met up with them, through our television and video services we produced a segment for them which we have used on many occasions. Khow Thai’s website was developed and we took on the task of redesign and development and connection with social website like twitter, Facebook and Google plus. We added all of the must have ingredients for a delivery restaurant website. We built an online order system and designed other order systems for them, We built a phone App, shot video, installed Google analytics. We consult with them, run ads and have a typical long term contract.
The Original Pancake House in Denver is a restaurant with multiple locations by the same owners so we worked with them to develop a site that works as a hub for both locations. Some of the work involved can be described as re-development of an existing site, moved them from a different server and content management system as well as trained the owners and management team members how to use their site and how it works together with other social media platforms. This project is also involves other services we offer including Video Productions and Photography.

Jalino’s Pizza in Boulder is the original Gourmet in Boulder. They had been a customer since 2004. We took a 16 year old site and completely rebuilt it but left the brand image. We made it interactive so Jalino’s could post monthly specials, pictures and menu item changes. We designed important sections: Menus, coupons, photos, media, video, about, contact. Then we created simple face book, Twitter and C1N accounts and linked them all together. Then we built a phone App so customers can order easily from any smart phone. Jalino’s has been a ten year customer. We run ads for them, manage their site and all PR. We take all of their photos, manage their face book and twitter account. Plus we managed all of their SEO. When the new owner came in he left it as is and hasn’t touched it in more then a year and stopped using our services, This is a good example of why you don’t want to leave your website unmanaged…
Great Harvest in Boulder has been one of our longest lasting clients and has used a variety of services we provide and incorporate with restaurant sponsors. We started editing magazine videos for television and we credit them almost everywhere the Channel Networks makes a new step, we also have written lots of PR media online and for Press about the restaurant and events in the making. The owner Scott Creevy has also taken on the efforts to display his talents in his own video blog titled Baking With Scott a show about all the food at Great Harvest in Boulder. The website has been thorough the dawn and rise of internet and social media and is now hosted on the WordPress platform which is linked to the Facebook page and twitter account as well. This is also one example of a website we sat down and did training on how to start posting their own content on the site into their newsletter. Another service we helped with is the purchase and implementation of a television and DVD player in their store for the sandwich line to display slideshows and videos appropriate for the season, as well as that production of an almost monthly video to present on the screen.
