Flagler College student wins Italian design contest

A design by Flagler College student, 
Victoria Hardina, was recently selected as the logo for the Italy Writes program.
Victoria Hardina, was recently selected as the logo for the Italy Writes program.
The program, an Italian high school creative writing competition, is based out of John Cabot University in Rome, Italy, where Hardina took classes as a visiting student this past spring.
“JCU is very proud of our students who contribute to building cultural ties between students from the United States and around the world,” said Dr. Mary Merva, Dean of Academics at John Cabot University.
Italy Writes engages high school students in the development of their English creative-writing skills and is open to all students enrolled in Italian high schools that do not have English as the primary language of instruction.

The performance will include a jukebox worth of All Starr hits. The performance will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $29, $49, $64, $79 and $124. The premiere Southern Kingfish competition of the year – with over $175,000 in cash and prizes! The tournament kicks off on Wednesday with a children’s fishing outing from the St. Augustine Municipal Marina,111 Avenida Menendez. New paintings by Claire J Kendrick are exhibiting this weekend at St. Augustine’s Worley Faver Gallery. Texture is a mark of integrity and passion in Claire’s work. Her new seascapes use heavy layers of oil paint. Night Sights and Tales Tour
