Our team is the backbone for Public television here in Boulder. We produce a nightly show called
22Boom for Educational access Channel 22 in Boulder county. On Boulder Channel 1 which is web based Television we cover local events, bands, tech, everything Boulder. We have been around since 1975 and have produced Television, newspaper and radio .
We are looking for people who want to be involved with a real TV channel and show your stuff. You will also help produce programming for Boulder Channel 1 and 22Boom.

Television: If you are a shooter editor: we will give you once a week local assignments once a week to shoot and edit a local story or event.

Web Developer same deal here. Do you really want to make a difference solving some local problems in TV video, at local Boulder Channel 1 and 22Boom ?? We are not your average startup buried in the tech world. We are mass media.

About the Events:
A forum on international affairs since 1948, the Conference on World Affairs is hosted annually at the University of C.U. campus and encompasses the arts, media, science, diplomacy, technology, environment, spirituality, politics, business, medicine, human rights, and more.
All events are free and open to the public-and attended by students, faculty, staff, alumni, townsfolk, journalists and visitors from around the nation. Audiences range in size from an intimate 100 to over 2,000 at individual sessions, with a combined total of about 92,000 over the course of five days.

Joanne Huskey talked about being in the EMBASSY bombing, she and her kids were in the basement and her husband was on the 4th floor. Everyone on the middle floors was killed. As I stood in line to thank Joanne Huskey, I had the opportunity to visit with someone in line (since I didn't ask his permission, not saying his name or position). He, too, had survived in the '98 US Embassy bombing. I am humbled and praying for the safety of a child who is now working in Kenya...how do we create respect and trust? The one saving grace of this panel was to point out just what a waste of a persons life it can be. they couldn't stress how addictive Twitter and Facebook could be. The tone of this session was politically leftist with continuous barbs thrown at conservatives who use twitter. So much for CU chancellors new policy of fair and balanced. All of the panelists criticized main stream media for not covering the news. None of them could explain the business side of Twitter. They also seemed oblivious to the fact that Television and News papers lost their foothold[READ|SHARE]
