Public works projects run-down on The Break Room

Reuben Franklin, the project engineer for the 
City of St. Augustine’s Public Works Department, stopped by The Break Room this week to discuss with host Paul Williamson the start of Phase II of the Riberia Rehabilitation Project, several storm water projects and much more currently under way and under the direction of the Public Works Department. The Break Room is heard on WFCF/88.5, Flagler College radio, on Wednesdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 8:00am.

Music by the Sea begins next Wednesday
May 7th
The 10th season of Music by the Sea concert series begins Wednesday May 9, 7:00pm-9:00pm at the St. Johns County Pier Park and continues each Wednesday through September 26. The series, produced by the St. Augustine Beach Civic Association, features a wide variety of music and, prior to each week’s concert, a local restaurant makes dinner appetizers available. The concerts are free and attendees should bring lounge chairs for seating.
2012 Schedule
Concerts in the Plaza prides itself on providing a wide variety of entertainment by showcasing the best in regional musical talent. For many of the series’ most faithful followers, a highlight of the weekly concerts is the chance to become reacquainted with some favorite performers. Some bands have been playing the series season after season while others have joined the roster in more recent years guaranteeing a wide variety of entertainment all summer long.

Concerts in the Plaza, St. Augustine’s weekly free concert series
that has been called “The best way to spend a Thursday night in St. Augustine,” has released the line-up for its 2012 season. This will be the 22nd year for the series which starts with an afternoon performance on Memorial Day and continues all summer long on Thursdays at 7:00pm and concludes on Labor Day with another afternoon performance.
