First Friday Art Walk
Enjoy the latest exhibits, music, entertainment and refreshments at more than 20 downtown St. Augustine art galleries from 5 – 9 p.m. Park for free at the San Sebastian Winery, 157 King Street, where sightseeing trains and trolleys offer free round-trips to the heart of the art district – or go on your own self-guided art walk.

Sunset Celebration at Vilano Beach Town Center
Food, artist performers, local arts and crafts, and genuine Old Florida surprises from 3 p.m. to dusk at the Vilano Beach Pier & Pavilion, 115 Vilano Rd #A in St. Augustine. Campfire Program at Anastasia State Park
Free presentation on different topics from bird watching to star-gazing around the campfire. Anastasia State Park is located at 1340 Florida A1A in St. Augustine. Historic Weapons Demonstation at Fort Matanzas
Take the National Park Service’s ferry to Rattlesnake Island and experience daily military life at Fort Matanzas – the 18th century Spanish fort that guarded the southern approach to St. Augustine. From 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., authentically clad re-enactors will demonstrate Spanish muskets and cannons at the fort. Admission is free. Marineland Guided Kayaking Ecotours

NOTE: St. Johns County residents with a valid ID are always admitted free of charge to the Lightner Museum, the Fountain of Youth (special events excluded), the Ximenez-Fatio House, the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, Spanish Military Hospital Museum, and the Historic Tours of Flagler College. The daily tours and wine tastings at the San Sebastian Winery are free to everyone. Also, admission is free to everyone at the Authentic Old Drug Store, Fort Matanzas National Monument, St. Photios Chapel, the Pena-Peck House, the Father Miguel O’Reilly Museum and the Mission Nombre de Dios Museum (donations are welcomed).
NEW: St. Johns County residents who purchase full-price admisssion to the St. Augustine Lighthouse ($9.50 adults; $7.50 seniors and children 12 and under; free for children under 44 inches in height) can now receive a pass good for free admission for an entire year! The Lighthouse is now open until 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.. Also, on the first Monday of each month, St. Johns County residents are admitted free to the Dow Museum of Historic Houses, 246 St. George Street, St. Augustine.

Lend Me A Tenor at The Limelight Theatre
Bring the family to see this play about a famed Italian tenor who passes out prior to his performance, the manager persuades his assistant, an aspiring tenor, to take his place. When Il Stupendo comes to, two Othellos are chasing lingerie-clad women and this classic farce is at its finest! Performance times are Thursday through Saturday at 730 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. All performances take place at the Limelight Theatre, located at 11 Old Mission Avenue in St. Augustine. WJCT’s Electro Lounge Movie Series
WJCT’s Electro Lounge at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, 1050 A1A N, will present a screening of It’s a Mad, Mad World, Friday, July 20th. The GTM Research Reserve will present the nature movie “Bag It: Is Your Life Too Plastic?” at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at 500 Guana River Rd in Ponte Vedra. Bag It follows “everyman” Jeb Berrier as he tries to make sense of our dependence on plastic bags. NEW: Tours of Flagler College’s historic Hotel Ponce de Leon are free to St. Johns County residents with a valid I.D. now to July 31st to celebrate the upcoming 125st anniversary of the Hotel Ponce de Leon. Legacy Tours highlight the architectural heritage of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, a nationally designated historic landmark building, built by Henry Flagler in 1887.
