The Flower Bin – Summer Festival in June

We go back to the Flower Bin and Jann Scott talks with owner Don Weakland about their big Summer Festival that happens every year in June. Free Hot Dogs, Drinks and Petting Zoo and of course the year’s biggest sale on everything in the place. Perennials, Annuals, Pots, Hanging Baskets, Statues, Trees, Shrubs, vegetables, fruits, garden accessories… Everything. Lots of fun for everyone.
Sturtz & Copeland – Summer planting, flower displays and Wedding bouquets

Carol Riggs introduces us to some of the Sturtz and Copeland Florists and french gardeners as well as some of the great products that you can start planting this early time of the summer. Carol show us some of the great local and organic garden seeds they carry, we look at vegetables and tomatoes that are ready to plant and then the wonderful selection of roses, also if you are interested Sturtz and Copeland hosts classes on how to plant and care for roses just look for details on their website. Then we meet Cindy one of the French gardeners and she tells us a little about the baskets they make and the great detail they put into every single basket and pot. Carol then introduces us to Autumn one of the floral designers for weddings and we learn about how they work with the brides and wedding planners to create the perfect bouquets, centerpieces and floral displays for wedding parties.
