The Flower Bin – Perennials, Annuals, Roses and more.

It’s the early summer at the Flower Bin and Don Weakland shows us all the colorful Perennials, Annuals, Roses and Hanging Baskets. We learn about the difference between Perennials and Annuals and how to keep them growing, as we look at some of the many wonderful flowers they have in the nursery. We also get a peek at some of the 100s of different varieties of Roses they personally grow. Then we go into the greenhouses and look at the wide selection of annuals and hanging baskets as well as garden vegetables you can get here.
Sturtz & Copeland – Summer planting, flower displays and Wedding bouquets

Carol Riggs introduces us to some of the Sturtz and Copeland Florists and french gardeners as well as some of the great products that you can start planting this early time of the summer. Carol show us some of the great local and organic garden seeds they carry, we look at vegetables and tomatoes that are ready to plant and then the wonderful selection of roses, also if you are interested Sturtz and Copeland hosts classes on how to plant and care for roses just look for details on their website. Then we meet Cindy one of the French gardeners and she tells us a little about the baskets they make and the great detail they put into every single basket and pot. Carol then introduces us to Autumn one of the floral designers for weddings and we learn about how they work with the brides and wedding planners to create the perfect bouquets, centerpieces and floral displays for wedding parties.

We visit Fabulous Finds Upscale Consignment in Longmont and Owner, Clarissa Edelen shows us around the shop and tells us about their goal for helping shoppers and consignors restore, re-purpose and reuse items such as household decor, furniture, clothing and fashion. Which makes Fabulous Finds a unique shop because they carry both fashionable items as well as small and large home decor and accessories.
