This new secret police will hide police behavior and will lead to instant violations of Free Press coverage. This also put the public in danger since the police will be able to get away with abuse of citizens.

In a letter to Boulder Channel 1 News which has been covering BPD since 2006, Redfearn said that he did not consider BC1 worthy of police co operation, not a news organization and that he would block BC1 from police scanners.

This hostile action to BC1 has caused irreparable damage  to our staff, reporters, sales department and ability to cover police activities. The editors are preparing for a fight with the city of Boulder and the police department over this hostile act by Redfearn and the city of Boulder

City will continue to prioritize safe airport operations as court appeal deadline passes

BOULDER, Colo. – The City of Boulder has made a decision not to appeal a recent court ruling in a case it filed last fall related to the Boulder Municipal Airport. The deadline for this decision was today, Friday, Nov. 14.Gordo15 climbing out of Colorado ...

Last year, the city challenged the federal government’s position that a 1991 grant of $5,800 obligates the city to operate the Boulder Municipal Airport forever. The United States District Court granted the federal government’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit, finding that a determination about the city’s obligation was premature. The court dismissed the case without prejudice.

After evaluating the ruling, the city has decided not to file an appeal. The city’s policy question around land use remains on hold at this time.Spitfire versus Messerschmitt Bf 109: A comparison of the Spitfire and the Bf 109 in the early years of World War II | Hush-Kit

As there was no judicial answer to the city’s question of whether the United States can obligate the city to run the airport in perpetuity, the city continues to maintain that it is only obligated to operate the airport until May 2040, when the 20-year duration of its most recent federal grant will expire.

In the meantime, the city will continue to prioritize funding critical safety measures, such as pavement remediation, to operate the airport in compliance with all federal requirements. The This is the ironic reason the Spitfire beat the Bf 109city is exploring options to support aging infrastructure needs, as well as innovations such as exploring unleaded fuel options, with the airport fund and alternative grants that do not require city obligations for an extended time into the future.

Boulder Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport, providing business, private and recreational aviation services to the city and surrounding communities. Learn more on the airport webpage.

Jack Smith, Trump’s Target, Shifts From Defense to Counterattack

“The former special counsel has told people in his orbit he welcomes the opportunity to present the public case against the president denied to him by adverse court rulings and the 2024 election. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/03/us/politics/jack-smith-trump-investigations.html

Jack Smith is different.

Mr. Smith, the special counsel who twice indicted Mr. Trump, appears unintimidated by the president’s demand that Republican lawmakers investigate him and that the Justice Department put him in prison for as-yet unproved and unspecified crimes.”
