increase too. This of course is something those of us who work in the drug addiction field have known for a long long time, but the pro marijuana lobby is so powerful just like the tobacco lobby and alcohol lobby, that law makers have been led to believe that marijuana is a benign substance just like water. No it is not. It is a powerful addictive drug that is reaping havoc on Boulder’s youth and the city, lawmakers, prosecutors and police have drunk the Marijuana lobby cool aide. This to the demise of Boulders Children. See C-SPAN for the full story.
They pushed amendment 64 on us. They pushed so called medical marijuana stores on us. Even our own congressman Jared Polis is pushing drugs on our community. He is absolutely clueless. To Balance these actions I have been in direct contact with the DEA pleading with them to conduct secret operations in Boulder. I want to see these illegal MMJ shops busted and their owners hauled off to jail. I want to see city officials investigated and arrested for pushing dangerous drugs on Boulder children. I want to see Congressman Jared Polis haulded out of his Washington office in handcuffs for pushing drugs on Americas youth. It is child abuse pure and simple. Our Boulder officials are a bunch drug dealing scum who deserve to be treated as such and our children need to be protected from them.
Now when the DEA starts busting everybody in Boulder , you can blame me for it and I will wear it as a badge of honor. Somebody needs to stand up against this madness: pushing drugs on our children indeed.
The city should make the Fox and Tumblr pay for all the extra police etc during this weeks rap concert at the Fox. They knew this would happen.

New Pope in Rome and DOPE in Boulder : Jann Scotts Journal

He is Pope Francis the first formerly Argentine Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio was elected by his
peers Wednesday evening as the new pope, becoming the first pontiff from the Americas. He is named after St Francis of Assisi who is my favorite saint known for talking with animals and helping the poor. I try to model my deep spiritual life after him which is to say I personally try to help the poor every day by feeding them, giving them jobs. With animals I have many bird feeders and talk to the cats and have them leave the birds alone which seems to work. I have a statue of st. Francis in my back yard and some religious metals of him which Fr. Breslin has blessed. I often give those to people who need a lift up. So I have much hope for our new Pope and look for a resurgence of the Catholic faith. And yes by the way I am Catholic, a christian, a believer and I follow Jesus who I determined that he is the biggest baddest Guru in Boulder….. even though he’s dead…. well not dead … he lives with the father in heaven which I also believe in. As well as the holy trinity… you know father son holy spirit. I also believe in angels and that I have a guardian angel. I have seen angels over Boulder. Yep I talk to Jesus and he answers. I talk to God the Father and he answers me in prayer. God also intervenes into my life when I need help, I ask and he answers. So it is all good. That is to say God is all good. Jesus is all good and the holy spirit is all good. Me? I am just a human with big failings and need all the help I can get. Thankfully I have been saved by the holy see and I know what’s up so to speak.
The DOPE scene in Boulder is another matter. It is straight out of the pit of hell and abounds with no controls. I see it first hand since I volunteer with drug addicts every day also. Drug addiction in Boulder is getting worse not better. There is very little drug treatment and while the city of Boulder ponders unleashing another barrage of addicting drugs on our youth I wonder ” are they fricking serious?”

Guns and Drugs in Boulder: Jann Scott’s Journal

The Colorado state Legislature is all cranked up this week over gun control. What ever laws they pass won’t change a thing. Unless they move AR-19s, AK 47s and all military type weapon into a special permit category nothing will change. That special permit category is reserved for collectors of military weapons.
Semi- auto handguns of course are a giant problem. All of the Glocks andf Berettas put out as much fire power as an assault weapon. Twenty years ago I had a Denver police officer tell me on my radio show. “We are out gunned on the street. You have criminals walking around with with semi auto Glock 9 millimeter”
And of course crazy people like James Holmes and Klebolt and Harris have readily gotten their hands on military weapons. What are we going to do about them.
Here are a few solutions:
1. Pass a law that anyone who purchases a hand gun or rifle must go through a gun safety glass with every purchase. Make this mandatory in Colorado.
2. Open a public shooting range in Boulder with a shoot master where these classes are given.
The above two will teach safety first and respect for fire arms.
Now on the issue of guns on the CU campus. I thinks women should be allowed to carry guns on campus but not men. That will end sex assault and see a few cases of men with their balls shot off. but it’s a nice message.
If Boulder wasn’t the hippie drug capitol of the world before, it certainly is now. And we are the laughing stock of the nation. Besides decriminalizing pot possession Boulder has open drug sales to anyone with cash.
As I predicted two years ago, teen drug abuse would sky rocket as a result and that is exactly what has happened. Why because drugs are addictive and law makers are stupid.
You would think that there would be a 100% tax on pot to pay for an new teen rehab center to stem the mayhem caused by drugs.
well that’s it from our happy little bubble here in the Rockies
